Former two-division UFC champion, UFC Hall of Famer and MMA legend Randy Couture (19-10) just sent out a message via Twitter that makes you wonder if he’s finally ready to call it a career.

If he is done with MMA, it’s been a hell of a run, from his two epic title fights with Pedro Rizzo at UFC 31 and 34, dropping to light heavyweight and beating Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz back-to-back at UFC 43 and 44, and coming back from a temporary retirement to take the UFC heavyweight belt back with a shocking upset of Tim Sylvia at UFC 68. In case all of that isn’t enough, he put the entire sport on his back and easily submitted the brash, outspoken former boxing champion James Toney at UFC 118. Mr. Couture, whatever you decide, my hat’s off to you!

UPDATE (11:12 a.m. eastern)

MMAJunkie spoke with Couture’s legal representative Sam Spira, who said that a decision has not been made.

“There’s been no official announcement. There’s been no decision. Any announcements or decisions would be likely coordinated with the UFC.”
