It’s common knowledge among the MMA community how popular the UFC and the sport is in Canada. We often hear of events selling out quickly in Canada; for instance, UFC 115 in Vancouver set the record by selling out in just 30 minutes. And prior to that, UFC 83 in Montreal held the record.

As the Ultimate Fighting Championship prepares to return to Montreal, Canada with “UFC 124: St-Pierre vs. Koscheck” on Saturday, Dec. 11, and due to the high demand for tickets, the UFC has released a limited number of additional $75 and $100 priced tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the Bell Centre box office, by phone at (514) 790-2525 / 1-877-668-8269 or at www.evenko.ca.

If you have been wanting to go to this event but could not get tickets, now is your chance, but you better hurry.

UFC President Dana White commented on their need for additional tickets:

“The fans are really fired up for this fight. Josh Koscheck’s mission is to take the world title from Georges St-Pierre in front of his hometown crowd in Montreal. With such high demand, we released additional tickets and expect Bell Centre to be electric on Dec. 11.”

It does not get any bigger for Canadian MMA fans than to have their very own UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre fighting in front of his hometown crowd, taking on his opposing Ultimate Fighter coach, Josh Koscheck, for the title.
