Announcing three title fights for “M-1 Challenge XXII: Gallicchio vs. Zavuro” on December 10

MOSCOW, Russia — M-1 Global today announced “M-1 Challenge XXII: Gallicchio vs. Zavurov” for Friday, Dec. 10, to be held at the Druzhba Arena in Moscow. The event will feature three title fights including the light heavyweight, middleweight and welterweight divisions.

For the welterweight (170 lbs.) title, M-1 Selection Americas 2010 champion Tom “Da Tank” Gallicchio (15-5) will face M-1 Selection Eastern Europe 2010 champion Shamil Zavurov (12-1).

For the middleweight (185 lbs.) title, M-1 Selection Eastern Europe 2010 champion Magomed “The White Wolf” Sultanakhmedov (28-4) will face M-1 Selection Western Europe 2010 champ Rafał ‘Kulturysta’ Moks (9-1).

And for the light heavyweight title, M-1 Selection Western Europe 2010 champion Tomasz ‘Giraffe’ Narkun (4-0) will face M-1 Selection Eastern Europe 2010 champion Vyacheslav ‘Slava’ Vasilevsky (9-1).

With M-1 heavyweight and lightweight titles being awarded at M-1 Challenge XXI and the welterweight, middleweight and light heavyweight titles being awarded at M-1 Challenge XXII, the organization will have put together a true contenders system to help fuel events throughout 2011.
