For the second time, Tie Quan Zhang‘s opponent for WEC 51 has switched. Now, he will face Pablo Garza. The card will take place at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo on Sept. 30.

MMAJunkie has confirmed the fight with officials from the WEC.

Garza fights out of North Dakota. He made his MMA debut in 2007, and he has quickly won his way to an undefeated 9-0 record. In his last fight, he scored a TKO victory over Aaron Steele at Crowbard MMA “Fall Brawl.” Six of his nine wins have come by way of submission.

Originally the WEC matched Zhang with TUF veteran Alex Karalexis. Then, the promotion replaced Karalexis with Jason Reinhardt. According to FiveOuncesofPain, Reinhardt failed his pre-fight medical tests and was forced to withdraw.

Zhang will be the first representative of the budding Chinese MMA scene to fight for a Zuffa promotion. The Mongolian-born fighter trains with China Top Team. He has competed for both Art of War and Legend Fighting Championship. His record currently stands at 11-0 with three knockouts and eight submission victories.

Headlining the card is a featherweight title match. Current champion Jose Aldo will defend his belt against TUF veteran Manny Gamburyan.
