Bellator Fighting Championships lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will serve as a special judge for open fighter tryouts on Saturday, Oct. 2 at the famed Daddis Fight Camps in Philadelphia, Pa.

Daddis Fight Camps is located at 1719 Washington Avenue in downtown Philly. Fighter tryouts will begin at 11 a.m. Bellator Matchmaker Sam Caplan and gym owner Brad Daddis will also serve as judges.

Fighters are asked to bring their own equipment, as well as federal identification. Fighters currently signed by another promotion are not eligible to try out.

Bellator will host its first event in Philadelphia with Bellator 33, taking place at the Liacouras Center on Oct. 21. This is a chance for an undiscovered fighter to earn a spot on this as well as possibly future Bellator cards.
