SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Saturday’s UFC on Versus 2 weigh-ins went off almost without a hitch. The only fighter who was not able to make weight was preliminary card welterweight DaMarques Johnson, who initially weighed in at 172.5 lbs. and eventually got down to 172 lbs. Consequently, the bout will be fought at a catch-weight and his opponent, Matt Riddle will get 20% of  his purse.

Headliners Jon “Bones” Jones and “The Janitor” Vladimir Matyushenko both tipped the scales at the light heavyweight non-title fight limit of 206 lbs. A taped replay of the weigh-ins is available for viewing for the next few days in our UFC Room, as is the UFC on Versus 2 Fight Club Q&A session with Dana White and multiple fighter interviews.

The action takes place tonight at the San Diego Sports Arena and airs live on Versus starting at 8:00 p.m. CT. As with every UFC card, ProMMAnow.com will provide live results and play-by-play commentary during the event.
