Pat Barry (5-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) (gushes and talks about his man crush on Mirko Cro Cop (26-7-2 MMA, 3-3 UFC) in great detail for three-and-a-half minutes. Then Barry is asked, “Are you going to win?”

“Absolutely,” says Barry. “It’s not going out of round one.”

Even though Cro Cop is on Barry’s top five list of people he never wanted to fight, the two will meet inside the Octagon as part of the “UFC 115: Liddell vs. Franklin” Pay-Per-View card this Saturday night at the GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

On a conference call last week Barry said while growing up he had posters of Cro Cop on his wall and he would like to get the legendary striker’s autograph when they meet.

  1. This turned out to be a great fight. Cro Cop looked to be back to his old self and Barry did an amazing job, especially after hearing the injuries he sustained in the 1st round.
