Tito Ortiz talks about the neck injury and subsequent surgery that took him out of what would have been his third fight with Chuck Liddell, and ultimately caused him to be fired from “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz.”

Ortiz has back surgery in 2008. After that surgery Ortiz talked about how good it felt to be back to 100%. Obviously that didn’t last long; somewhere along the line he was injured again. He talks about not wanting to fight injured:

“I can’t fight hurt anymore. I can’t fight injured and look for excuses. I never want to look for excuses. I always want to win every one of my fights, but here’s another surgery.”

WARNING: This video also shows the surgery – and it’s f*ckin nasty! If you missed last night’s episode of TUF, where Tito announced he had to pull out of the fight with Liddell, here is a re-cap.
