UFC President Dana White is in full media mode this week. In this appearance on VERSUS’ “The Daily Grind” White briefly discusses the release of UFC Undisputed 2010, and talks about the new features in the game.

White then delves into discussion about this weekend’s big pay-per-view, “UFC 114: Rampage vs. Evans“.

When comparing Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and “Suga” Rashad Evans, who were opposing coaches on TUF 10, and will compete in the main event at UFC 114 for a shot at Shogun Rua’s title, White believes Evans is the better athlete and has the speed advantage, but says Rampage has “power, determination, and an incredible chin” on his side.

White believes Rampage is a seasoned vet and still in his prime. He says this is the meanest he’s ever seen him.

The discussion then turns to MMA possibly becoming an Olympic sport. White says he thinks it will happen one day but his focus is elsewhere, and someone else is going to have to steer that ship.

Of course the “pound-for-pound” question once again arises, and without saying his name (Fedor), Dana once again gives his spill on why “the Russian” should not even be considered in pound-for-pound best talks.

White says, “This guy (Fedor) hasn’t fought anybody since the late 90’s.” Actually, Fedor didn’t even start fighting professionally until 2000.

White gives his top five pound-for-pound: Anderson Silva, Georges St. Pierre, B.J. Penn, Frankie Edgar, Jose Aldo.

“Who cares?” That was White’s response when asked about Tim Sylvia’s win over Mariusz Pudzianowski.
