ProMMAnow.com and other media outlets joined UFC President Dana White and former UFC light heavyweight champions and opposing coaches on Spike TV’s “The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights”, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and SugaRashad Evans for a conference call today to help promote their upcoming main event fight at “UFC 114: Rampage vs Evans”, scheduled for Saturday, May 29, at MGM’s Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

This had to be the craziest UFC conference call in the history of the organization. White said he had never been on a call like this during his nine years with the organization. Evans and Rampage talked just as much, if not more, to each other than they did to reporters asking questions.

Once in a while, when the verbal tirade between the two fighters looked as though it would never end or was getting out of complete control, White would reel them back in and ask for the next question from reporters.

The hatred these two have for one another is unlike anything we have seen. It makes the beef Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock had for each other seem like they were best buddies. It makes the bad blood between Ortiz and Liddell seem like a love affair. On May 29, all the talk will come to an end, and if there was ever a fight that would likely not go the distance, it will be Rampage vs. Evans.

Dana White:

As far as I’m concerned we’ve been very fair with a lot of people.

From what I hear the A-Team movie is going to be a huge success. I want a piece of his second film.

From the first minute they walked on set, it just escalated from there.

He finished filming the movie in December.

The reality is these two really don’t like each other.

I did commit to the winner getting a title shot.

This is a sport, but don’t fool yourself this is the fight game… To me the WWE stuff is when people try to go out there and contrive stuff. It doesn’t get any more real than this.

I think they both respect each other in ways but they just don’t like each other.

I think it’s next to impossible for this movie not to be a big hit.

I think these two have eclipsed any grudge match we’ve ever had.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson:

I’m unhappy with a lot of things but I’m here to talk about my fight with Rashad.

I already forgot I did a damn movie… The movie has been done with a long time ago and I don’t even think about the movie no more. I’m just thinking about this fight.

This would be like a moral victory for me. Rashad couldn’t even hold onto the belt for one fight… This is no big accomplishment. This fight is kind of like a step backwards.

Never. (have I fought someone I dislike as much as Rashad) I don’t like the way he talks to me, for someone who has not really done much in the sport.

You can’t do nothing better than me.

I’m a grown man and you’re playing these little boy games.

Who talks while they’re getting knocked out?

This is a tune-up fight.

You get tired in all your fights.

I don’t know what day I graduated high school.

I know cause you’re gay.

Bisping’s an excellent training partner and he’s just a good guy to have in camp.

There’s no concern about me losing my cool. That will be the last thing on my mind.

I’ve been training for this fight like it was a title fight.

A guy like you with a glass jaw shouldn’t be talking like that.

Before Jardine my jaw was messed up.

I met Rashad back in the day when he fought at Gladiator Challenge and Hector Ramirez broke his ankle and Rashad was dancing around… he wanted to come train with me. …Everything was cool to after the Jardine fight.

He commentated my fight and talked bad about me the whole fight. That’s when I stopped liking him.

I fight for money. This is my job. Whatever brings in the most cash is where I’ll be at.

I’m not underestimating Rashad at all. He’s got fast punches and pretty good takedowns.

“Suga” Rashad Evans:

Who am I to fight him? Who is he to fight me? He didn’t even beat Forrest.

Stop acting like just because you’re black you’re stupid. I can’t stand that attitude.

The best thing about all this shit-talking is we’ll get to see in two weeks.

Don’t act like you’re stupid.

You’re the tin man.

You stop interrupting grown-ass men when they’re speaking.

He does this little black Sambo thing. Why perpetuate the stereotype that you’re stupid?

I’ll put my big balls right in your face.

Me and Mo have been cool since college. He does a good Rampage and helped me with my takedowns.

Despite how hot he makes me, I’ll be able to stay cool. I do want to go out there and start throwing punches at him and see what lands.

I bet you were happy with those wins you got over Bisping and Tito.

I know Quinton’s whole style.

Before when I met Quinton at Gladiator Challenge, he was my favorite fighter.

  1. Rampage is an absolute piece of crap. He’s one of those people who thinks the world owes him something. He’s always “the victim” and nothing is ever his fault. He always has an excuse. And I think Rashad just stoops to his level and I don’t know why. This was damn classic piece of MMA history right here though.

  2. At least Rampage is true to himself and doesn’t pretend to be something he is not. He says what is on his mind without regard for judgement. Rashad is a fraud, perpetuating a faux nice guy image for the masses and the cameras. The Ultimate Fighter show proved that without a doubt. And what in the world is with the “stop acting stupid because your black” deal. Quinton is being Quinton, he grew up in the ghetto you jackass. Rashad has identity issues with his race if he’s so focused on that aspect.

  3. Ghetto or not, the fact that the whole television-watching world is hearing “it’s gonna be some black-on-black crime” over and over on the commercial is a little bothersome.

  4. Oh and sometimes its better NOT to say what’s on your mind if you’re a complete moron.
