Last Thursday, the Beat the Streets Gala took place aboard the USS Intrepid in New York City. The event raised funds for high school and middle school wrestling programs in the city. Some of the nation’s top wrestlers took part in some matches to entertain the fans including Bellator welterweight tournament participant Ben Askren. For more videos check out FloWrestling.org.

This match in another example about why many MMA fans are excited about Askren coming to the sport. Not only is he a great wrestler, but he also has a very creative and inventive style. In Askren’s first few MMA fights he has shown an interesting style, and it will only continue to develop.
Why does no one promote these wrestling events? I live in NYC and would have gone.
I am glad he is still wrestling because Ryan Thomas is to KTFO
