“UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun 2” takes place Saturday, May 8, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The main event features the light heavyweight title fight rematch between champion Lyoto Machida and number one contender Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
After Rua lost a very controversial unanimous decision to Machida in their first fight at UFC 104 last October, UFC President Dana White did the best thing he could do for someone he thought got robbed, and that was give them an immediate opportunity for redemption.
Welterweights Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley, and heavyweights Kimbo Slice and Matt Mitrione are also on this card and are featured in “Countdown to UFC 113”.
