ABU DHABI – While most of us here in the United States were sleeping early this morning, the professional mixed martial arts fighters at “UFC 112: Invincible” were stepping on the scales at Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for the official weigh-ins.
All 22 fighters competing in Saturday’s “UFC 112: Invincible” event at Concert Arena (at the Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island) successfully made their weight limits. Archive video footage of the weigh-ins is now available for viewing in ProMMAnow.com’s UFC Room.
UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva tipped the scales at the 185 lbs. limit and challenger Demian Maia weighed in at 184 lbs. UFC Lightweight Champion B.J. Penn weighed in at the 155 lbs. limit and challenger Frankie Edgar weighed in at 154 lbs.
