“Countdown to UFC 112” airs tonight, Thursday, April 8, on Spike TV. Be sure to check your local listings, because even though the poster and UFC.com says it comes on at midnight, my television cable guide says it starts at 11:13 p.m. CT (which is a damn odd time to start anything).
The Countdown show will focus on UFC 112, which takes place this Saturday, April 10, and will air on pay-per-view live from Abu Dhabi. The main event features Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia, and the co-main event features Lightweight Champion B.J. Penn vs. Frankie Edgar.
Also on the card is a legends match between former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes and PRIDE veteran Renzo Gracie.
