Apparently during tonight’s “WEC 46: Varner vs. Henderson” live broadcast on Versus, we should prepare to have our worlds rocked. The UFC (@UFC) posted the following tweet early this morning:
“We heart the next 48 hours: WEC, UFC Fight Night, and a fight announcement on Versus during WEC to blow your mind (in the good way).”
No doubt the MMA world’s collective wheels of thought of will be turning overtime until tonight’s announcement. At this point, we can only speculate. One would assume the announcement regards a UFC fight since it was tweeted on the UFC’s Twitter account, and since the WEC Twitter account makes no mention of any forthcoming revelation.
What type of UFC fight would blow our minds at this point?
- Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brock Lesnar would blow my mind.
- Georges St. Pierre vs. Anderson Silva would blow my mind.
- B.J. Penn vs. Shinya Aoki would blow my mind… hmmmmm..
