Then Diego discusses his upcoming Dec. 12 lightweight title fight against B.J. Penn. Diego feels it has been a long time coming, and he wants to show the world he is the best 155 pound fighter on the planet.

Frank Mir discusses what went wrong in his last fight, which was a rematch against current UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. He then talks about his upcoming bout against Cheick Kongo at UFC 107 in Memphis. Obviously, Mir feels he has the advantage on the ground, and if he can get Kongo down, that is where he can have the most success.


B.J. Penn talks about his win over Kenny Florian and giving him some payback for things he said in the media. Penn then discusses his upcoming Dec. 12 bout against Diego Sanchez. Penn said he doesn’t have anything bad to say about Sanchez, “except that he’s a little strange here and there.” He says maybe Diego could have given him problems back in the day, but not now. — Penn’s final thoughts on the fight: “When’s the last time someone came out and went right after Diego Sanchez? That’s a question his coaches better figure out.”
