Frankie and Frank - Halloween in Vegas.
Frankie and Frank - Halloween in Vegas.

Everyone thinks that a fighter is some always serious, don’t mess with them or get punched in the face person. WRONG! I was in Vegas this weekend with my dad and family out there. We celebrated Halloween by going to a party and trick or treating. Also that day we went to the drag races that were in town.

Halloween was a crazy and fun filled day. Me and the family the night before went out to the mall and got some yogurt land and walked around. Then when we got home my sister thought it would be fun to paint mine and Dad’s face like vampires. The next day we went shopping in the morning after we got some coffee then me and my dad went off to the races.

The races were really fun, we had our friend there Gary who manages some of the racers and we got a VIP tour. We got to meet some of the racers, Dad did an interview, and we got to watch a race on the starting line. On the starting line it felt like I got kicked in the chest. It was insane! That was a really fun time not so much of the races but because that’s one of the first times in a long time we went somewhere that every two steps someone didn’t ask for a picture or autograph.

We got home and got ready for our “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” themed Halloween party. Me and Dad were supposed to go as Umpa Lumpas but only my suit came in. The party was crazy with Wonka stuff all over the place and we got to watch the Yanks and Phillis go at it. We did some trick or treating but sadly I had to give all my candy away when I got home to my little brothers so I can make weight soon.

Dad just signed his bout agreement to fight sometime in February, and his knee surgery recovery is going great. I have my first match in 10 days and gotta lose about six pounds still. But I’m excited and can’t wait until I can get on the mat and showcase my skills and hopefully go and win a state championship.

Hope everyone had a great holiday and I’ll be writing soon.
