On Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, World Championship Fighting returned to the Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, Mass. with “WCF 8.” Headlining the sold-out event was WEC veteran Mike Campbell taking on Mike Medrano. Campbell ended up finishing Medrano via ground-and-pound just 3:12 into the opening round and improving his record to 5-2.
