On Sat., Aug. 15, Punch Drunk Promotions will bring their top notch Rumble on the Ridge series back, for the fourth installment, to the Snoqualmie Casino in Snoqualmie, Wash. “Rumble on the Ridge IV: Boiling Point” will be Washington state’s first ever outdoor MMA event and is sizing up to be a fun-filled all day extravaganza.

In what is being dubbed the “Boiling Point Street Party,” which will run from approximately 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., fans will be able to enjoy exhibition fights, specialty MMA vendor booths, an outdoor bar, beer garden, great food, live music, and a ring girl bikini contest.

If that isn’t enough to fill your pre-fight time, Game Crazy and Punch Drunk Promotions will be co-sponsoring an XBox 360, UFC Undisputed 2009 head-to-head tournament. The winner of the video game tournament will receive ringside seats & VIP passes to meet the pro fighters for the next Rumble on the Ridge fight card, scheduled for Oct. 10, as well as a $75 Game Crazy gift certificate. The “Boiling Point Street Party” will be free to attend for all event ticket holders.

Amazingly, all of the street party festivities and activities are merely a warm-up, leading up to the actual fights themselves. If “Rumble on the Ridge IV” is even half as exciting, action-packed, and entertaining as “Rumble on the Ridge III” was, MMA fans are in for a real treat.

MMA fans in attendance will also get a chance to see, photograph, and possibly meet current WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner. Varner will be at “Boiling Point” cornering Jade Porter in his bout against Chanti Johnson of Team White Buffalo Warriors. Fans should not be surprised if Varner is only one of many MMA stars that they recognize. Multiple MMA superstars from the northwest and around the world have attended past Rumble on the Ridge events.

On top of all of the already mentioned excitement, there will also be multiple door prizes and a huge raffle. Rumble on the Ridge will be holding a raffle for a Ronix wake board and tickets for the Bud Light Cruise featuring the Dave Matthews Band.

Punch Drunk Promotions combines a mixture of professional and amateur mixed martial arts matches, as well as amateur kick-boxing bouts, for their Rumble on the Ridge fight cards. The end result is an exciting, action-packed, and all around entertaining fight card which promises to please even the most finicky of MMA fans. Of all the Pacific Northwest MMA promotions, Rumble on the Ridge definitely sets the standard.
