Vitor Belfort’s striking coach, Shawn Tompkins, talks about their decision to accept a short notice fight with Fedor Emelianenko at “Affliction: Trilogy” after Josh Barnett was pulled out due to testing positive for steroids. Tompkins said they have agreed to the fight and done everything they need to do to make the fight happen, now they are just waiting on Fedor’s camp. The only issue seems to be, Fedor’s people want the champ to fight Brett Rogers — We will just have to wait and see what happens.
