According to UFC President Dana White at the post-fight press conference UFC 100 did a $5.1 million live gate with approximately 11,000 fans in attendance at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Sat., July 11, 2009.

In an unprecedented move, the UFC gave away a whopping $400,000 in bonus money to their UFC 100 standout fighters. Four fighters received $100,000 each for their impressive performances. The bonuses went to the following:

Fight of the Night– Fight of the Night went to Alan Belcher and Yoshihiro Akiyama. Akiyama came away with a very controversial decision victory. PRO MMA (promma.info) along with UFC color commentator Joe Rogan thought Belcher did more than enough to get the nod.

Knockout of the Night– In what had to be the most devastating knockout punch since Rashad Evans crumpled Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson received Knockout of the Night honors for his vicious right hand followed up with one for good measure knockout of Michael “The Count” Bisping. It happened in round two and The Count was down for the count. 

Submission of the Night– “Filthy” Tom Lawlor received Submission of the Night honors with his guillotine choke of C.B. “The Doberman” Dollaway just 55 seconds into the first round of their preliminary card bout. There were no submission victories on the main card.
