PRO MMA (promma.info) has learned Strikeforce and Showtime will present their second “Strikeforce Challenger Series” event on June 19th.

The sophomore show will be headlined by a middleweight match-up between Joey Villasenor and Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos, held at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington.

The Showare center holds 6500-7000 fans when set up for MMA and is the current home of the Western Hockey League’s Seattle Thunderbirds.

PRO MMA also confirmed that Dennis “Superman” Hallman, former UFC, IFL and XFC veteran of more than 50 professional MMA matches, will be fighting on the “Challenger Series” card. “I am fighting on June 19th on the Strikeforce card at the Showare events center. Not sure who the opponent is yet.” Hallman told PRO MMA.

The main card will also feature former UFC veteran and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Jorge Gurgel facing ShoXC and IFL veteran Connor Heun. Undefeated ShoXC alumni Lyle “Fancy Pants” Beerbohm potential could face either Duane “Bang” Ludwig or current MFC 170 pound champion Pat “Bam Bam” Healy.

Female submission specialist, Shayna “The Queen of Spades” Baszler could possibly meet the winner of the Miesha “Takedown” Tate versus Sarah Kaufman.

The “Challenger Series”, a proving ground for up-and-coming fighters as well as cage tested veterans, provides the top MMA talent of today the opportunity for nation-wide television exposure. The card, as of now, reads as follows.
