PRO MMA (promma.info) has learned the WEC is adding a new bantamweight, Kyle Dietz, to their roster. Dietz trains out of Spencer Fisher’s gym, Evolution MMA in Moline, Illinois. Sources close to the camp have confirmed Dietz has acquired a six-fight contract with the Zuffa-owned promotion.

Kyle Dietz’s first fight for the WEC is planned for their June 7th card at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California. Although the bout agreement has not yet been signed, Dietz’s opponent is said to be WEC veteran Charlie Valencia (10-5).

Dietz is a 22-year-old undefeated fighter originally from Davenport, Iowa. Although his record reads 5-0 in Fight Finder, he told us in a recent interview his record is actually 13-0.  This will be Dietz’s first fight at bantamweight.

So far the only fight officially announced for WEC’s June 7th card is the Featherweight Title Fight between Mike Brown and Urijah Faber. Other bouts rumored for the card include Donald Cerrone vs. Richard Crunkilton, Jose Aldo vs. Cub Swanson, Manny Gamburyan vs. John Franchi, Josh Grispi vs. Jens Pulver, and Leonard Garcia vs. TBA.
