PRO MMA (promma.info) was live on the scene Tuesday afternoon at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee for the UFC Q & A session as well as the UFC FIGHT NIGHT 18 weigh-ins.

Local fans spent an hour asking numerous questions to UFC commentator, Mike Goldberg and TUF 9 lightweight winner, Efrain Escudero at the Q & A. Following that, there was an hour break, then it was time for the weigh ins.

It first appeared all fighters would make weight easily as the process moved along smoothly. The first to miss weight was lightweight Jeremy Stephens as he stepped off the scale two pounds over the 156 pound weight limit for lightweight.

Stephens’ opponent, Gleison Tibau also missed the mark for the lightweight limit. Stephens returned several minutes later to weigh-in for a second time and only sporting a UFC towel. Despite the extra effort, Stephens once again was over the limit and it was later learned the fight will now take place at a catch weight of 158 pounds.
