This Saturday night, at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, TN, Extreme Fight Night presents a full card of Mixed Martial Arts and Kick Boxing action.

The XFN has become one of the nation’s top showcase’s of amateur MMA and Kick boxing talent, having seasoned such big name stars as Forrest Griffin, Rory Singer, and Melvin Guillard. The XFN is a launching pad for fighters to organizations like the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce, and the World Combat League.

The creation of former World Kick Boxing Champion and professional boxer Lane Collier, Extreme Fight Night is a unique experience compared to other local, and regional, shows. With 210 shows to his credit in eight years, Lane has fined tuned his promotion to maximize the fight night experience for both fan and fighter.

PRO MMA (promma.info) caught up with Collier and was able to get the scoop. “I did fifty shows a year for two years in bars, and now I have no interest in doing bar shows. As a matter of fact when asked about my record I say 110 because those bar shows I don’t even count. We like to do a family friendly type of show. You will see a lot of kids at our shows. There is no cursing allowed. All our fighters are from reputable schools. We don’t allow independent fighters, they have to be well established to fight for us.”

Extreme Fight Night feature quality production value, including a Las Vegas style stage with lots of lights, smoke and music. One unique feature is that XFN streams their fights live on the internet at www.extremefightnight.tv. All fights are archived at the site. This benefits the fighters as well because they can easily watch their match and help improve their game for future fights. XFN fighter and Team Nemesis member Carl Finley says, “Lane puts on a really good show. As an amateur fighter you get a taste of what it is like to be in the big time.”

The fight card is packed with action that includes an ISKA title fight, a U.S. Muay Thai title fight, and a super heavyweight female kick boxing match. The fighters hail from Southeast, including seven fighters from the Middle Tennessee area. The main Event will feature Team Nemesis standout and Murfreesboro’s own Ande Paul-Hus.
