Dana White, UFC President, called in live from Hawaii on the Carmichael Dave Show on Wednesday November 19th in an exclusive interview to discuss Jon Fitch’s release from the UFC and what it means for the future of other AKA (American Kickboxing Academy) fighters.

He makes it clear that his issue is not with Fitch but the people from AKA who manage the fighters. White says they will no longer be dealing with AKA or fighters associated with them.

He also talks about Urijah Faber and says that some fighters [Faber] are focusing on too many things other than fighting such as trying to be businessmen.

It’s an interesting interview to say the least and White is noticeably upset.  He makes some very good points.
