15rounds.com’s Michael Swann has reported the reason behind California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer Armando Garcia’s resignation is sexual harrasment.

Garcia’s office has reportedly already been cleared out and he had the option of resigning or be fired.

The sexual harassment claim was filed by office technician Lily Galvez.

Swann also reports on Garica allegedly violating the 1996 Professional Boxing Act, collecting travel claim advances, accepting gifts, and informing outside sanctioning body representatives of fight scores in the middle of the bouts.

These allegations on top of the sexual harassment suit filed against Garcia make the case for the sudden resignation.
