We reported to you two days ago that the UFC would be releasing “Ultimate Comebacks” as their foray into the Blu-ray market.  The price of this collection of bouts will be a reasonable $24.98, which is actually very good considering most regular UFC DVDs are priced anywhere from $15.99-$19.99.

“We are very excited to release the ULTIMATE COMEBACKS on Blu-ray, where our UFC fans will have a better viewing experience bringing UFC action right into their living room,” said Don Gold, executive vice-president of Zuffa LLC. “Fans that watch UFC already own Blu-ray and Playstation players, making the ULTIMATE COMEBACKS the perfect Blu-ray ‘must have’ title, and at a competitive price.”

Ultimate Comebacks contains over 120 minutes of UFC fight action.  Match-ups included on the Blu-ray DVD include Pete Sell vs. Scott Smith, Alessio Sakara vs. Drew McFedries, Martin Kampmann vs. Drew McFedries, Renato Sobral vs. Jason Lambert, Keith Jardine vs. Houston Alexander, Jon Fitch vs. Roan Carneiro, Colin Robinson vs. Eddie Sanchez, Paul Taylor vs. Marcus Davis, Chris Leben vs. Terry Martin, Jon Koppenhaver vs. Jared Rollins and Roger Huerta vs. Clay Guida.

The theme for Ultimate Comebacks revolves around those fights within UFC history where one of the competitors was on the brink of defeat only to bounce back victorious.  The street date for Ultimate Comebacks is November 18, 2008.

Upcoming UFC Blu-ray titles include UFC – THE BEST OF 2008, which will be released in March 2009.
