The U.S. Open XIII Brazilian Jiu Jitsu dubbed “America’s Favorite Tournament” will be held this weekend, Oct.18-19, in Santa Cruz, CA. at the Civic Auditorium. Many schools which are also home to many great MMA fighters will be represented at the event.
It seems they are nearing capacity on the number of participants so if you are planning to enter this event you need to sign up immediately on the U.S. Open BJJ website.

Medals and certificates are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each division, and every registered competitor will receive a complimentary tournament t-shirt, as well as half off of our featured Rules and Referees Seminar with Professor Alvaro Mansor.
Spectator Ticket Prices – 25% of ticket sales proceeds will be donated to our featured charity the Good Shepherd School. Please help support this cause by encouraging your friends and families to come watch you compete.
The ticket window at the Civic box office will be open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on both days of the event.
