  1. To be perfectly honest. I think Randy Couture is great. I’ve been watching him since he faced Kevin Randleman back at UFC 30. And Have enjoyed watching him every since. However, when I heard all this stuff about Randy and the UFC last year. I was almost Apauled. I read on his site, his wife wrote that Randy wasn’t getting enough publicity from the UFC and they weren’t paying him enough. Then I seen a press conference with Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta, I believe. And Dana was saying that they were paying Randy Millions on his comentary deal, with his wins over Tim Sylvia, and Gonzaga. I mean I was astonished. I thought, how could Randy have the audacity to say these things. Blah Blah blah.
Then I begin to realize. I know with one hundred percent certainty, that Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture is a very genuine, humble, and great human being. Maybe one of the best since ‘Christ’ himself. (maybe that’s pushin it).
Anyway, I met Randy back in September of ’03 when he fought Tito in Vegas. He was the most respectful and humble guy I’ve ever met. I wish I could be that kind of guy.
So, I start to think, all this BS is being Hyped up by the media and internet geeks. And here I am stuck in it reading and believing BS!!
However, I stand by my initial thoughts on Randy. He is a stand up guy. And that’s that. The best P 4 P fighter in the world today. Anderson WHO(by the way is retiring in ’09. FACT) BJ WHO Georges St WHO Urijah WHO. Yeah that’s right Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture.
    Sorry for doubting Randy.
    Good luck in November.

  2. UFC couldn’t make the fight happen between Randy Couture and Fedor Emelianko last year. Randy wanted that one last fight before finally retiring but after one year of litigation later we now get to see Couture in one of the most heavily anticipated fights leading up his potential bout with Fedor Emelianenko:

    Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar

    If he wins:

Randy Couture vs winner of Frank Mir / Minotauro Nogeira

then finally if he wins we’ll be treated to the fight of the decade:

    Randy Couture vs. Fedor Emelianenko

Go Randy! If he makes it all the way to Fedor and defeats him he will make MMA history for years to come. What a way to retire.
