In a press release we just received from Affliction Entertainment, it states that veteran MMA fighter Gary “Big Daddy” Goodrich (23-17-1, 13 KOs, 9 Submissions) has replaced Aleksander Emelianenko, who didn’t meet CSAC licensing standards, as Paul “The Headhunter” Buentello’s opponent tomorrow night (Saturday, July 19). There is no word on what kind of shape Goodridge is in and whether or not he has been in training. One would assume he has been in training otherwise, it probably would not be in his best interest to take a fight of this caliber on one day’s notice.

“Affliction Banned,” is being touted as the greatest line-up of mixed-martial-arts fights ever presented in one night.  It will showcase talent from around the world in the fastest growing sport on earth, live on pay-per-view from Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

  1. I just saw Big Daddy at the event in Ontario calling the Headhunter out… is that for real? Paul went up in the cage and answered him… I think Paul will KO Big Daddy, his hands looked too good against Baby Fedor.
