The winner between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Forrest Griffin will be happily introduced to the biggest group of contenders ANY SPORT HAS EVER SEEN. The 205 division is filled with a Dragon, a Iceman, an Axe Murder, gang of youth, and now a Spider. It will be hard for the new or current Champion to keep the most respected belt in the UFC. In a sport where anything can happen, we can see a new champion every single defense.  And to go along with a new number one contender, will there be a new King or just a man holding on to a belt for someone else to take next PPV? We are privileged to see either outcome, Because this is the Golden Age of MMA. Watching the UFC Light Heavyweight division is actually watching the best 205er’s in the world today. According to MMAWeekly.com (www.mmaweekly.com) the UFC has nine of the top ten Light Heavyweights in the world. How long until they have all ten?

Well Lil’ Nog (Antonio Rogerio Noguerira) is the only one right now not under contract with the UFC who is in that Top Ten. Lil’ Nog was fighting for the Hardcore promotion which isn’t running anymore. Therefore, the UFC seems to be the the only logical place for the brother of the current UFC Heavyweight Champion. And a Brother / Brother combination on a PPV will definitely be a nice marketing scheme for Dana White. Whether you love him or hate him, he is delivering the best fighters in the world and now the best fights in the world. And with the addition of the man many consider the best pound for pound fighter in the world in Anderson Silva the division just got even deeper. Yet, in a land of Lions who is King? The obvious answer is Quinton Jackson, however Anderson, Liddell, Shogun, Lyoto, Wandi, Forrest, Sokoudjou, Jardine, and Thiago Silva all think the Kingdom is theirs and the others are just paying rent until they get their opportunity. All of them bring something to the table to challenge  the current Champion, Quinton Jackosn, who is still the face of the UFC is the 205 division. However, who will be the poster boy? Time will tell… Until then … LATER PUTOSSS
