It’s the most fantastic time of fight camp. Weighing in and then getting to eat and drink after suffering through the weight cut. At least that’s what I think it’s like. The fighters of UFC on FOX 10 will take to the scale in Chicago today to see if their cut went good, bad or just as they had planned. Tomorrow night we see the return of both Benson “Smooth Henderson and Josh Thomson. Thomson put a beating on Nate Diaz and Henderson is looking to rebound from a loss to Anthony Pettis. Both men want a shot at Pettis but it seems only Thomson will get that opportunity with a win.
If you were one of the dedicated souls to wake up at 5 a.m. to watch the UFC Fight Night 34 weigh-ins, I commend you. It will be an adjustment now as the globalization of MMA will keep many hardcore fans up all hours of the day and night to keep up with the many events going on outside of North America. For those of you that missed it, we have your results.
