Rony ‘Jason’ Bezerra and Cezar ‘Mutante’ Ferreira both winners at UFC 147 (Video)

At UFC 147 we got to see The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil finals which resulted in Rony “Jason” Bezerra winning in the featherweight category and Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira taking the middleweight crown. By winning the tournaments both men have earned themselves a six figure contract with the UFC.

UFC 147 weigh-in results; Silva weighs 188, Franklin 190

UFC 147 weigh-ins took place today at the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Rich Franklin steps in on short notice replacing Vitor Belfort to take on familiar foe and Brazilian native Wanderlei Silva. Franklin weighed in at 190 pounds while Silva weighed in at 188 pounds for their 190 pound catchweight main event bout.

UFC 147 preview: Rich Franklin locks horns with Wanderlei Silva for second time

The UFC 147 main event that’s set to take place in Brazil on Saturday night will feature a 190 pound catchweight bout between former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin and former PRIDE Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva. This will be a rematch of their first battle which took place at UFC 99 with Franklin winning a close decision.
