Thanks to a whole slew of live UFC events in April, FUEL TV had its highest-rated and most-watched month in the network’s 10 year history.
During the month of April FUEL TV aired four live UFC Weigh-In and Postfight shows, one live UFC Prelim show and one UFC main card, in addition to shoulder programming such as Countdown shows, etc.
The UFC on FOX 7 event is set to take place Saturday night from San Jose, California, and will take place at the HP Pavilion. The main event will feature the UFC lightweight title fight between champion Ben Henderson and Gilbert Melendez. It’s a loaded FOX card in terms of matchups, but the questions going into the event are probably even more intriguing.
The UFC on FOX 6 show scored a strong preliminary rating with 3.77 million viewers according to TVByTheNumbers. It earned a 1.8 rating in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic. Those numbers were good enough to score a first place finish for FOX among all television channels and were up 13% over the UFC on FOX 5 show that took place in December.
