Drew Fickett attempts to get back on track at “Rage in the Cage 129”

29-year-old UFC veteran Drew Fickett (36-12) will attempt to get back in the win column tonight, June 27, as he faces former Pride/K-1 fighter Shannon Ritch (43-66) at “Rage in the Cage 129: Eastern Invasion” in Globe, Ariz.

It is hard to believe Drew Fickett, who holds wins over such great fighters as Josh Koscheck, Dennis Hallman, Kenny Florian, and Josh Neer, has lost his last four fights (3 (T)KOs & 1 decision), all in 2009.

He has been fighting professionally for ten years, and 1/4 of all his losses have taken place this year.

Don Frye returns at “Shark Fights 4” on May 2

On May 2nd, Don “The Predator” Frye returns to face judo champion Rich Moss at “Shark Fights 4” in Lubbock, Texas. The forty-three year old UFC and Pride veteran and MMA legend last fought and lost to Ikuhisa Minowa via kneebar in August of 2008 at “Deep: Gladiator”.

Don Frye has amassed a 19-7-1 record in his on again off again 13 year MMA career. Rich Moss is 7-2 as a pro and is a former National Judo and Pan American Champion.

“We are very excited to have Don Frye on the Shark Fight 4 card. He is an MMA fan favorite and a Legend in the sport. This bout is a great addition to our already stacked card, which includes veteran UFC, WEC and Pride fighters. The event will also feature two Texas Championship Title Fights. This is undoubtedly our most impressive fight card to date. Get ready for an exciting night of fights!” said Jim Larson, President of Shark Fight Promotions.
