Palace Fighting Championship’s “PFC 13: Validation” results

Palace Fighting Championship’s “PFC 13: Validation” took place Friday night, May 8th in Lemoore, California at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino and PRO MMA (promma.info) has the results.

Carlo Prater defeated Dominique Robinson by a hard fought unanimous decision to take home the PFC Lightweight Title and Kyle Pimental stopped Olaf Alfonso with a cut in the third round for the PFC Welterweight Title.

In the main event Doug “The Rhino” Marshall rocked Jaime Jara with a high kick followed by knees to the body in round one. In round two “The Rhino” cut Jara with an elbow. Jara took Marshall down near the end of the round and landed a couple of punches before the bell sounded. Round three was very close with Marshall escaping two close submissions. In the end Marshall walked away with the split decision victory. Three rounds were definitely not enough for the PFC fans.

5 Title Fights at Palace Fighting Championship’s PFC 12: HIGH STAKES on Jan. 22

Palace Fighting Championship will be back once again at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, CA on January 22 for PFC 12: HIGH STAKES.

In what must surely be a first in the history of MMA, The PFC will hold five title fights on one card! Starting with their lightest weight class, the PFC will crown a World Flyweight Champion as Thailand’s Rambaa Somdet (6-2) takes on Scottsdale, Arizona’s Pat Runez (5-0).

“We are excited and proud to be the first U.S. based promotion to really establish a 125-pound division and crown a champion,” Palace Fighting Championship President Christian Printup said. “Whether it’s Somdet or Runez, we know that we are going to have one of the top 125-pound fighters in the world representing the PFC as champion.”

Bobby Lashley will fight for Palace Fighting Championship in February

Former WWE pro wrestling star, Bobby Lashley, will reportedly have his next fight with the Palace Fighting Championship promotion. Lashley, 1-0 in his mixed martial arts career, will fight on the PFC’s February 6th card in Lenore, California.

Although an opponent has not been named, a list of fighters Lashley could face to possibly build up his fight resume has been sent to him for review.

Lashley attended Missouri Valley College, where he won three national amateur wrestling championships between 1996 and 1998 and placed fourth in 1995. Throughout 1997 and 1998, he was the National Association of Inter-collegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Wrestling Champion. Lashley later joined the United States Army, where he continued to wrestle.

The Rhino runs through the Palace – PFC 11 results

Winner Doug Marshall has never been past round 2

Palace Fighting Championship’s PFC 11: All In took place at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California last night. The fight was streamed for free on Sherdog and gave MMA fans a chance to watch one of the top regional promotions in the country.

In the main event, former WEC Light Heavyweight Champion, Dough “The Rhino” Marshall made short work of Rafael Del Real by knocking him out in just 1:09 of the first round.

“The Rhino” always comes to bang and did not disappoint the fans. He has now put together back to back wins since losing his title to Brian Stann back in March. Marshall with this win improves his record to 9-3 and has still never been out of the second round.

Doug Marshall fights tonight at Palace Fighting Championship

Palace Fighting Championship 11 takes place on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California.

The main event will feature former WEC Light Heavyweight  Champ, Doug “The Rhino” Marshall taking on Rafael del Real.  

Many MMA fans will remember Marshall losing his WEC LHW Title to Brian Stann back at WEC 33 in March. Marshall bounced back in July with a second round TKO victory over Phil Collins at PFC 9. 

Fights will be streamed live on www.sherdog.com at 6:30 PST/9:30 EST.

Phil Baroni headlines Palace Fighting Championship 10 tonight

Palace Fighting Championship presents PFC 10 taking place tonight, Friday September 26th at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino outdoor events venue in Lemoore, California.

Main Event: Long Island, NY’s Phil Baroni (12-10) vs. Enseneda, Mexico’s Olaf Alfonso (7-8).

There will be three title fights:
PFC World Lightweight champ – Bakersfield, CA’s Brian Cobb (12-4) vs. Temecula, CA’s David Gardner (14-9)
PFC World Bantamweight champ – Porterville, CA’s Shawn Klarcyk (9-2) vs. Tulare, CA’s Brandon Miller (3-2);
Bakersfield, CA’s Bryan Travers (10-1) vs. Turlock, CA’s Jeremiah Metcalf (9-4) for the vacant PFC World Welterweight title
