April was FUEL TV’s most-watched month ever

Thanks to a whole slew of live UFC events in April, FUEL TV had its highest-rated and most-watched month in the network’s 10 year history.

During the month of April FUEL TV aired four live UFC Weigh-In and Postfight shows, one live UFC Prelim show and one UFC main card, in addition to shoulder programming such as Countdown shows, etc.

Move to Tuesday boosts ratings for The Ultimate Fighter; UFC on FX 7 most-watched UFC event in FX history

The decision to move The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) on FX from Friday nights to Tuesday nights so far proves to be the right choice for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Fox Sports Media Group.

Season 17 of the reality TV series made its special two-hour premiere Tuesday night on FX from 8 – 10 p.m. ET/PT.

After what many felt was a disappointing show at UFC 149, the world’s no. 1 mixed martial arts promotion returned with a fantastic night of fights at UFC on Fox 4. The UFC came second in Saturday’s TV ratings, losing out to none other then the 2012 Olympic Games.

UFC on FX 4 helps network win Friday night demos

Last Friday night’s live broadcast of “UFC on FX 4: Maynard vs. Guida”, along with the movie Iron Man, helped FX rank #1 for the night in Adults and Men 18-34. Compared to UFC on FX 3 back in June, ratings for UFC on FX 4 increased in all key demos across the board.

Although Spike TV held a UFC marathon all day long Wednesday in an effort to counter-program the UFC’s first full live event on Fuel TV, “UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger” was the most-watched program in Fuel TV history.

The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale peaks with 2.4 million viewers

Spike TV has released their ratings for “The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale”, which aired last Saturday, June 16. The three-hour telecast peaked at 11:30 p.m. ET for the Court McGee vs. Kris McCray main event with 2.4 million viewers.
