Cyborg’s original opponent, Ediane “India” Gomes has been forced to withdraw due to a rib injury suffered in training. World Series of Fighting held a conference call Tuesday for their upcoming WSOF 2 fight card scheduled for Saturday, March 23 in Atlantic City. Headliners Andrei Arlovski and Anthony Johnson, along with co-headliners Tyson Nam and Marlon Moraes and WSOF president Ray Sefo answered questions from reporters for over an hour.
World Series of Fighting has put together an in-depth video preview for the WSOF 2 heavyweight main event between Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. WSOF 2 is scheduled for this Saturday, March 23, in Atlantic City, N.J. and will air live on NBC Sports Network, with the prelims streaming live on Sherdog. The preview does a good job showing the story lines leading up to this fight as Arlovski, a former UFC heavyweight champ, tries to put together his fifth straight victory as he takes on Johnson, who used to fight at welterweight with the UFC.
