Kansas City, KS — Since the mid-90s, the Miletich Fighting Systems training brand has been synonymous with some of the top names in the sport. And on Friday, Dec. 18, at the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS, three fighters representing the next wave of MFS fighters hoping to reach championship status will be featured at Titan Fighting Championships 15 (www.TitanFighting.com and www.Twitter.com/TitanFighting).

Tickets for TFC 15 are currently on-sale via Ticketmaster.com and all local Ticketmaster outlets.

Leading the MFS pack will be Adrenaline MMA veteran Ramiro “Junior” Hernandez, a 23-year old former lightweight who now competes at featherweight. The 5-1 resident of Iowa is slated to take on the crowd-pleasing Mike Johnson, 10-6, in a 150 lbs. catchweight attraction.

Mike Ciesnolevicz impressive in UFC debut

Another Pat Miletich product made an impressive debut this past weekend when Mike Ciesnolevicz (17-3-1 NC) forced Neil Grove (7-2) to tap in just 1:03 of the first round due to a nasty heel hook. Miletich Fighting Systems has long been considered one of the top teams in MMA having produced such fighters and champions as Matt Hughes, Jens Pulver, Robbie Lawler and Tim Sylvia just to name a few. If you named all the fighters who came up through the Miletich System and have trained there from time to time it would read as a who’s who of MMA fighters.

At UFC 95 this past Satuday, Ciesnolevicz kept the ball rolling. While this was Ciesnolevicz’s first actual fight in the UFC, he is no stranger to the big time as he has often been a cornerman for other M.F.S. fighters in the past. Before getting his shot in the UFC, Ciesnolevicz was a mainstay for the now defunct IFL promotion. He went 5-3-1NC in the IFL and was a part of two championship teams as a member of the Quad City Silverbacks coached by Pat Miletich.

Pat Miletich KO’s “Wildman” at Adrenaline II

At the :50 second mark of round two, referee Michael Reid stepped in to save the fallen Thomas “The Wildman” Denny from the assault of forty year-old Pat Miletich at Adrenaline II Thursday night in Moline, Illionois.

Early in round one, Miletich landed a powerful left hook that stunned Denny and put the fight on the mat where Denny defended against the Croation Sensation’s ground and pound for the rest of the round. Denny came out aggressively striking in round two only to come in contact with the experience and boxing of a man who has trained more world champions than possibly anyone alive.
