The purpose of a trainer is to provide the athlete with the necessary tools to improve his/her performance. A trainer’s goal is to create an environment where an athlete acquires effective behavior rapidly. Since you (the athlete) is the one performing, their job (the trainer’s) is to increase your ability to make fast and effective decisions under stress. NOT to make the decisions for you.
