King Mo signs dual pro MMA-pro wrestling deal with Bellator and TNA

Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (8-1, 1 NC) has signed a deal to compete in both pro mixed martial arts with Bellator Fighting Championshps and in pro wrestling with TNA Impact Wrestling.

At 2 p.m. ET today, Spike TV is holding a media conference call to announce major talent deal involving Bellator Fighting Championships and TNA Wrestling. It looks like that talent deal could involve none other than former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal.

Mann Talk – Bellator 64 Preview

Tonight, Bellator Fighting Championships returns to MTV2. In the main event, welterweight champion Ben Askren will defend his belt against tournament champion Douglas Lima. The rest of the main card features bouts in the featherweight and bantamweight tournaments. This is easily one of the best cards, on paper, so far this season.

Spike TV and Bellator Fighting Championships are teaming up with eight-time Emmy Award winning producer Bertram van Munster, creator of “The Amazing Race,” to produce a new unscripted mixed martial arts reality show.

Mann Talk – Bellator 63 Preview

For the first time in what seems like months, all of the fighters made weight for tonight’s Bellator 63 card, which airs live on MTV 2. The event kicks off the welterweight tournament. The winner will get a shot at the title, which will be defended by Ben Askren against Douglas Lima later this season.
