UFC on FUEL TV 9: Robbie Peralta suspended six months for marijuana use

The test results for UFC on FUEL TV 9 fighters have come back, and one of the fighters will be facing a six month suspension due to marijuana use.

UFC featherweight Robbie Peralta was found to have marijuana metabolites in his system following the UFC on FUEL TV 9 event which took place April 6 at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

Chael Sonnen spurns retirement talk, sets sights on Wanderlei Silva at light heavyweight

UFC light heavyweight Chael Sonnen has no plans to retire after his UFC 159 dismantling at the hands of Jon Jones according to his appearance on FUEL TV’s “UFC Tonight”. Sonnen mentioned that he has plans to stay to light heavyweight simply because he has fought pretty much everyone in that division, including his two fights in which he lost to the champion Anderson Silva. Nicolae Cury vs. Reggie Pena tapped for XFC 24 co-main event

Xtreme Fighting Championships has announced their co-main event for XFC 24 as a middleweight showdown between fellow Floridians Reggie Pena (10-5) and Nicolae Cury (7-4). XFC 24 is scheduled for Friday, June 14, at the USF Sundome in Tampa, Fla., and will broadcast LIVE on AXStv.
