Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson has signed with promoter Gary Shaw in order to start a boxing career. Rumors have circulated for weeks about Ferguson in boxing, and now ESPN.com has confirmed the signing.
Thankfully, Gary Shaw has not made an announcement of his return to MMA. Instead, he plans to take his former pet project, Kimbo Slice, and bring him into the boxing world. Shaw says stay tuned the announcement.
We told you this day was coming and now it is here. On Aug. 21, former Olympian and BJJ black belt Rhadi Ferguson will make his pro MMA debut at Hybrid Fight League in Hopkinsville, Ky.
What do Kimbo Slice, Mariusz Pudzianowski, Tim Sylvia and Hong Man Choi all have in common? All of the heavyweights are being targeted for Moosin’s second MMA card on Oct. 9 in Chicago.
