Miguel Torres had a fight with Joseph Benavidez at WEC 47 this past weekend. It was one hell of a battle. Unfortunately for the former bantamweight champion, he was submitted via guillotine choke in the second round. He also walked away with this beauty.

Now just one day prior to UFC 110, Croatian website MMAAxion.com is reporting that Mirko Cro Cop received a cut over his eye while sparring and had to get stitches. Cro Cop apparently refuses to pull out of the fight citing he does not want weeks of preparation to go to waste.

Since our initial “Firing Line” report on Wednesday that the UFC had cut UFC 109 participants Mark Coleman, Frank Trigg, and Tim Hague, we have learned two more fighters from that same card have also been cut: Phillipe Nover (5-3-1), and Rolles Gracie(3-1).
