Brock Lesnar is steroid free; UFC 116 drug tests come back clean

ProMMAnow.com is happy to report that all 15 fighters who were tested for illegal and banned substances at UFC 116 are clean.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission randomly tested the following UFC fighters who competed at the July 3 event in Las Vegas: Brock  Lesnar, Shane Carwin, Chris Leben, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Chris Lytle, Matt Brown, Krzysztof Soszynski,Stephan Bonnar, Brendan Schaub, Kendall Grove, Gerald Harris, Ricardo Romero, Jon Madsen, George Sotripoulos and Daniel Roberts.

In 2008, Chris Leben was suspended for nine months after testing positive for Stanozolol following his fight with Michael Bisping at UFC 89. In 2006, Stephan Bonnar tested positive for Boldenone Metabolite following his rematch against Forrest Griffin at UFC 62.

It is nice to know both Leben and Bonnar’s wins at UFC 116 were on the up-and-up.
