Dave “Pee Wee” Herman talks about his disqualification against Sokoudjou and more

ProMMAnow.com‘s Denny Hodge recently caught up with wild man Dave “Pee Wee” Herman (16-2) at Nashville MMA, his home gym. Herman talked about his recent fight with Sokoudjou at the Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship, the U.A.E.’s first MMA promotion.

Reports indicate that “Pee Wee” was winning the fight very decisively, had Sokoudjou hurt on the ground, and went in for the kill with a knee to the head, thinking it was a legal move. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, Sokoudjou could not continue and  Herman was disqualified.

A lot has changed for “Pee Wee” over the last year or so. The guy went from training at his house to joining up with Nashville MMA, getting serious about his career, and has even been competing in grappling tournaments. “Pee Wee” says he even prefers the Gi now!

“Pee Wee” also touches on problems he’s been having with Bellator over his contract and when we might see him back in action. If you’re diggin’ the old school Pee Wee Herman T-Shirt, you can pick one up at www.AmericanMayhem.com.
