UFC 106: Koscheck, Nogueira, and Sadollah at post-fight press conference

Josh Koscheck, who won Fight of the Night and Submission of the Night honors with a very impressive victory over Anthony “Rumble” Johnson said, “Hopefully in 2010, if I’m not fighting St. Pierre next, I’ll be fighting every month.”

In reference to who Koscheck may fight next, Dana White half-jokingly said, “Maybe Fitch.” Koscheck laughed it off. But there seemed to be some undertones of tension there. For those who don’t know, Koscheck and Fitch are teammates and have openly stated they do not want to fight one another. This is a fairly common sentiment among training partners and fighters from the same camp. It is also a policy White is not fond of.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira spoke about his win over Luiz Cane, saying he felt a lot of pressure coming into the fight because it was the UFC, and he wanted to perform well. And Amir Sadollah said that Phil Baroni was even tougher than he expected.
