The man who ran the tournament, Cesar Gracie, talked shop with PROMMA.INFO’s ‘Fast Eddie’ Constantine at the 2009 Gracie Open at the Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco, California. Cesar hit on the topics of Melendez versus Thomson II, Shields versus Miller, Carlson Gracie and the philosophy of building up home grown fighters from scratch.
