“Superfly” Matt Major defeats Shonie Carter at Cage Combat

“Superfly” Matt Major defeated MMA veteran Shonie Carter via unanimous decision at Cage Combat: Rumble in the Park on Saturday, August 23, in Fresno, California.  One person described the fight like this, “Matt kept Shonie at bay with a lot of kicks and rocked him a good four times with punches, wound up breaking Shonie’s arm with a blocked kick.  Matt seemed nervous but he looked good, especially his karate.”  Most people will remember Matt Major from his episode on the popular Versus MMA reality show, Tapout.
